Note: It doesn’t specify non-token, meaning Food, Clues, and Treasure tokens all benefit Syr Ginger. One tidbit to keep in mind is that Syr Ginger, the Meal Ender is a Knight, which is relevant for those who play Sidar Jabari of Zhalfir in Commander, as you can sacrifice Syr Ginger and then return it to the battlefield once Sidar Jabari deals combat damage to a player.
