Arcane Signet is a two-mana artifact that can tap for one color from your Commander’s color identity. While that might feel like a lot compared to Command Tower, the difference here is that artifacts don’t count against the number of lands you play a turn and can be powerful in their own right. Plus, if you somehow play Command Tower into Sol Ring into Arcane Signet on turn one, you can probably just ask everyone else to concede.
