Because you’ll be casting Eerie Interlude and cards similar to it a lot, every single game. Eternal Witness-type cards let you set up a combo where you cast the Interlude, blink all your creatures, and then use your Eternal Witness to return the Interlude to your hand. I go so far as to play Archaeomancer, Shipwreck Dowser and even the mighty Izzet Chronarch in my blink decks, just to ensure I have enough of this effect to always get back my mass-blink spell whenever I cast one.
