Coiling Oracle is another card that can ramp your mana, but belongs to another category of cards that are critically important for blink decks: “cantrip” creatures. Two-drops that draw a card when they enter the battlefield smooth out your early draws, and make sure you always have stuff hanging around to blink. Wall of Omens, Wall of Blossoms, Elvish Visionary, Fblthp, the Lost – again, the list goes on, and again, you should play these cards early and often. It may not seem like much, but some of the other cards coming up on this list will help demonstrate just how important it is to have something like the humble Coiling Oracle on the battlefield at all times.
